Our Nashville, TN client is looking for Payment Processor on a temporary basis.

Position is responsible for posting incoming electronic and/or paper check payments in accordance with the processing logic established by client  and/or as indicated by the customer to ensure the highest level of efficiency and accuracy. Also to provide excellent customer service when assisting customers regarding their payments and/or questions regarding their account.

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:
Process all payments received either electronically, paper checks received in house or by lockbox in priority order on a daily basis at the direction of management in an accurate and timely manner.

Accurately enter updated and/or new bank account information requested by customers into processing system
Handle incoming calls in a call queue to assist customers with any problems or questions regarding their payments and provide excellent customer service
Provide feedback to management or lead person of any suspected customer/system inaccuracies
Demonstrate ability to work in fast pace environment and ability to multi-task efficiently
Any other projects/tasks assigned by manager

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Equivalence
9500 KSPH or better
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to document, analyze and resolve problem situations accurately and promptly in a professional manner
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with other departments and outside customers

Our Nashville, TN client is looking for Credit and Collections Representative on a temporary basis.

Job Summary: The Collections Representative is responsible for several functions involving of a customer account from contacting them to ensure correct set up, to helping them to resolve any problems and questions, to contacting customers to collect payment on their account.

Work  Activities:

Make at least 1700 outgoing calls each month

Help setup accounts for Internet and electronic processing.  Communicate new products and features to new and existing customers

Work returned payments and take necessary measures to collect on them

Work the 85% of credit line report with the Supervisor of C & C to determine whether a customer needs more money on the account or if the account should be placed on hold until payment is received

Answer incoming customer calls and any other calls made directly into the Collections dept.

Reconcile accounts and work out payment plans if necessary

Monitor the accounts and determine whether an account has the correct credit line in accordance with usage.  If the usage is more than determined contact the fleet to discuss a possible credit line increase.  If the credit line is drastically more than their usage the supervisor should be notified to possibly lower the credit line.

Handle any tasks given by the Supervisor or other co-workers as needed.

Job Context: The Collections Representative spends a majority of the time monitoring accounts, speaking with customers about their account, collecting funds.  The work day is spent in an office with climate control.  Stress is low to moderate.

Work Performance:

Answer the telephone in a prompt, pleasant, and professional manner.

Have a thorough working knowledge of the products and what they can do

Field questions effectively and accurately

Accurately enter all collection information into the system

Monitor credit lines and terms on accounts and report exceptions to Supervisor

Convert accounts to electronic payment and invoicing methods to speed cash flow

Reduce past due accounts and reduce bad debt write-offs

Be flexible – adhere to collection policies while using good judgment and acting as a team member.

A team player is a must.  Be a team player while working productively without direct supervision

Job Qualifications:

Upon hire, Collections Representative must:

Have a High School diploma or equivalent

1-3 years working experience in a similar profession

Computer skills – Excel, Word, Outlook

Excellent Organizational skills

Phone etiquette

Upon hire, it is expected that the Collections Representative:

Learn to use our collection system(s)

Communicate and work effectively with other team members

Communicate correct information in an effective, professional manner to customers

Our West Houston client has a need for a Staff Accountant with a CPA license.

The Staff Accountant will report to the Accounting Manager and be responsible for efficiently processing accounting transactions and providing accurate, timely internal management information and reports for all financial activity in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Including but not limited to the following responsibilities:

     

  • Complete monthly close procedures
  • Analyze revenues and expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately on a monthly basis
  • Prepare monthly account reconciliations
  • Document and streamline processes for increased efficiency and effectiveness
  • Assist with analyzing financial statements on a monthly basis and report on/correct variances
  • Assist with financial and tax audits (quarterly and annually) and tax filings
  • Assist Internal Audit in their monitoring of internal controls

Desired Skills & Experience

     

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Masters a plus; CPA a must
  • 3+ years of experience

Reconciles general ledger to bank statements

Prepares W-2s, 1099s, tax reports
